Thérése A. Cobb,MSW, BCETS, has been a faculty member with the ICISF, Inc. since 1994, their U.S. Western Representative for Family Programs and Assistant Liaison for Region VIII. She is a recognized trainer of Families and CISM: Developing a Comprehensive CISM Program, Group Crisis CISM, Advanced Group Crisis CISM, Peer Support/Individual Crisis Intervention and Team: Evolution and Management. She received the ICISF Community Services Award in 1999. As a law enforcement spouse, Thérése designed and implemented the Family Assistance Network (FAN) which enhances the development of support services for emergency service departments and their families, and is a co-author of the Families and CISM program. She is a founding member and current Clinical Director for the Tri-County CISM Network. Thérése has been involved with the Washington State CISM Network since 1992 and held several Executive Board positions including past President, in 2006 she was awarded the Tim Ross Humanitarian Award. She is a clinician with Pacific NW Trauma Associates and Counseling Services, PLLC, in Richland, Washington. Specializing as a psychotherapist in cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapies for the treatment of trauma and crisis, acute stress, and PTSD for children, adolescents and adults. Board Certified Expert in Traumatic Stress, Dipolmate of the AAETS.
