Ethics For Traumatologists
Upon completion, participants will be able to: Have a basic understanding of the functions of ethics and ethical codes; Identify their own professional and personal values that impact their work in the field; Have a written mission statement and look at why they do the work they do; Understand basic principles of competence; Examine the role of culture in ethical decision making; Look at areas of potential ethical dilemmas; Recognize the need for self-care as an ethical decision.
Course Highlights
Completion of “Ethics for Traumatologists: A Course for Clinicians, Responders, Researchers, Educators and Consultants in the Trauma Field” and receipt of a certificate indicating full attendance (13 Contact Hours) qualifies as a course in ICISF’s Certificate of Specialized Training Program.
